Staff Picks: New Products
Over the past few months, we at Darlings of Chelsea have been scouring the design world to bring some fantastic new products to you, so that we can help you create a cohesive look for your interiors. And we’re really excited about some of the products we’ve discovered. Our latest collections to launch, our Ebb and Flow lighting range and Clarke and Clarke cushions, have some great pieces that we think you’ll really love. We certainly do! In fact, to introduce you to some of the items now available in our stores and online, the Darlings have picked a few of their staff favourites for you.
The Glow in a Dome Lamp with Brass base from the Ebb and Flow – Emma (Customer Service Manager)
“This lamp is unique and innovative and is a talking point for when I have visitors over, it is going straight in my study room!”
This is a great little table lamp from the Ebb and Flow range. For me, the name ‘Glow in a dome’ is evocative of the idea of catching a firefly in a jar and the beautifully warm sensation that gives off. You can choose from silver or brass (as Emma prefers) for the base and there are seven colour options for the glass shade, so you can set it up to suit your tastes perfectly.
The Leopold Sorbet Cushion from the Clarke & Clarke range – Sonia (Manager at our Birmingham showroom)
“I think the Leopold Sorbet cushion is so fun, I bought one for my daughter’s princess-style bedroom – finished the look off perfectly!”
This brightly coloured cushion is great for adding a big splash of colour to space. Its playful design isn’t just great for children’s rooms, whether it’s your own bedroom that needs brightening up or the living room that needs a bit of fun bringing to it, the Leopold Sorbet cushion is perfect!
The Julian Crystal Carafe Lampshade from the Ebb and Flow range – Julie R (Customer Service Executive)
“The Lead Crystal Julian lamp will be amazing in my hallway….once the decorating is finished!”
The Julian Carafe Pendant lamp comes from a collection of Ebb and Flow light features created by using old whisky bottles to make the moulds! In fact, the incredible craftsmanship that has gone into the whole design of this lead crystal shade is almost unbelievable, as you can see with its stunning cut glass detailing, that gives off a beautiful, dazzling glow.
The Creek Denim Cushion from the Clarke & Clarke range – Amy (Administration) and David (Customer Service Executive)
“I love the contemporary design of the Creek cushion in Denim – it’s got such an interesting look!” – “Creek Denim cushions would look great for using whilst indoor also on outdoor garden furniture for extra comfort.”
As you can see, the Creek Denim cushion is a popular choice! And it’s not hard to see why. Its eye-catching zigzag design is easy-going yet sophisticated, making it the perfect complement to almost any space. And it’s great for mixing and matching with other cushions from the range too!
The Lean on Me Book-End Table Lamp from the Ebb and Flow range – Sophie (Sales Consultant at our Tunbridge Wells Showroom)
“This lamp somehow manages to fit my personality perfectly as it combines my two greatest passions – design and literature.”
This quirky table lamp has a fun but chic industrial edge to it. It’s fair to say that its multi-functional look and use give this truly unique light feature such a clever look. This is perfect for a desk or shelving unit in a study, surely upping your productivity levels with its bright, uninhibited glow and hard-working style.
And last, but hopefully not least, my favourite!:
The Speak Up! Lamp from the Ebb and Flow range – Julie F (Content Manager/Copywriter)
“This lamp really speaks to me as the design tunes into my love of podcasts and radio.”
The Speak Up! Table Lamp from our new Ebb and Flow collection is rather splendid. Its design is reminiscent of an old-fashioned microphone and if you choose the brass base for it, I feel its look particularly encapsulates a bygone era of style and class. However, there is also a chic silver base available, and as with the Glow in a Dome, you have a range of colours to choose from for the glass shade. Classy indeed!
